ENGINEERING CONSIDERATIONS
Define the system before the solution.
Source priorities
Define normal/emergency source priorities, transfer permissives and the required start/stop signals. The existing electrical topology determines the permitted sequence.
Interlocks
Review electrical and mechanical interlocks, breaker status feedback and control supply. Transfer logic must match the approved source arrangement.
Restoration sequence
Agree how the system returns to normal supply and handles unavailable sources. Functional checks cover the agreed transfer scenarios.
